Sunny & -8 in GB

Ya Gota Luv this story.....

It's sunny & -8 in GB and tomorrow Barry is coming over to replace the ski wear rods on my new skidoo... (Basic maintenance if you've been in Spooner lately)... Anyway, my plan today was to take the skidoo & trailer to the car wash because they were both dirty and full of road salt.... Usually this is a dumb idea at -8 but my plan was to take the trailer & skidoo to Mom's heated underground garage overnight to warm up & melt off (good idea)... When I pulled into her garage I found a Jeep with Illinois license plates in Mom's parking spot.... Ok, someone is visiting someone in the condo and using her spot temporary.... I measured the space carefully and since Mom's space was at the end of the garage with a little extra room..... I planned to park the trailer right next to the Jeep (less than 6") and then leave a polite note on the Jeep & the trailer explaining the plan & leave my cell phone number so I could come and change the arrangement at anytime....

At this time some gray haired gentleman in a Buick pulled into the garage... I politely asked him if he knew who owned the Jeep in Mom's spot... He did, it was Mr. White's son visiting from Chicago...... AND..... he came at me with Both Barrels (Verbally) about how I could not park my snowmobile trailer in my Mom's spot and last year when I parked my Motorcycle there it cause a huge problem with the Condo Association AND my Mom is a wonderful person but he didn't think her son was so good & Blah, Blah, Blah...... Oh Boy,,,,, I did quietly mention that my Mom owned just as much of that garage as anyone else (fortunately he did not hear that statement)... I immediately apologizes several times, told him that I understand, reassured him that my Mom was still wonderful (& maybe the other 2 sons that he had meet yet) and Blah, Blah, Blah... I slowly & carefully backed out of the garage in a prompt fashion and the gentleman offered to close the electric garage door for me....

I regret that I didnot take the time to ask the gentleman to ask the F.....ing son from F....ing Illinois to move his F....ing Jeep out of my Mom's Parking spot that she is paying the F.....ing heat for!!!!!!

If I ever get old enough and have the money to afford to move into a luxury condo with senior citizens someday..... then please just shoot me in the head first....

ThankYou..... c ya, Neil

ps..... Kathy & I discussed the situation and Kathy thinks she should take her Subaru (a Car of course & approved by the condo association) over to Mom's spot and park it 1 inch behind the Jeep (yes there is room)... Then leave a note on the Jeep saying "I'm in Florida until March, Love Mrs. Rechsteiner"

pps.... Mom's living room has southern exposure with large warm sunny windows.... What do you think the condo association would say about the 100 Pot Plants I have growing in Mom's living room while she is in Florida????

ppps.... Mom, I know you are visiting Amy now and I hope you enjoyed this email... I hope I did not cause any problems and I was very kind.... enjoy your vacation & see you this spring (If they kick you out the condo then you can live us....)

MY BROTHER NEIL FROM GREEN BAY, AND THANKS FOR WRITING OUR BLOG FOR TODAY.
