CARSON VALLEY, NEVADA

ONE LAST LOOK AT THE SIERRA NEVADA SNOW CAPPED MOUNTAINS FROM THE CARSON VALLEY. I THINK THEY ARE REALLY PRETTY, FROM WHERE I STAND IN SHORTS AND A T-SHIRT.

MONDAY WE MADE THE MOVE UP INTO THE MOUNTAINS FOR THE SUMMER AT SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA. THE STATE LINE BETWEEN CALIFORNIA AND NEVADA RUNS RIGHT UP THROUGH THE LAKE WITH THE CASINOS IN STATELINE, NEVADA AND THE CAMPER IN SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA.

ABOUT THE FIRST THING WE DID WAS TO TRY AND REINSTALL OUR DIRECT TV. IT'S SOMETHING WE HAVE BEEN DREADING AND LOOKING FORWARD TO AS WELL. WILL IT WORK IN THESE TALL PINES OF THE MOUNTAINS? AFTER ALL YOU NEED A CLEAR SHOT AT THE SOUTHERN SKY.

SETTING UP THE SATELLITE DISH AND DIRECT TV WAS A VERY LONG FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE, AND WE JUST CAN'T FIND THE SATELLITE BETWEEN THE TREES. NOT A GOOD DAY TO BE IN CAMP.........

ON THE GOOD NEWS FRONT, WE'RE HEADED BACK TO WORK ON FRIDAY AND GOT FOUR DAYS ON NEXT WEEKS SCHEDULE. WE BOTH LOVE OUR VACATION TIME, BUT THE OLE CHECKBOOK WILL BE HAPPIER THAT WE ARE HEADED BACK TO WORK.
