THE COLOSSEUM AT CAESARS PALACE

The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is a modern version of one of Rome’s architectural wonders and was created especially for Celine Dion’s “A New Day.” The 4,300 seat amphitheatre is equipped with state-of-the audio and visual elements including the largest indoor high-definition LED screen in the world. Measuring 120 feet wide by 33 feet tall, the screen creates an extraordinary illusion of depth that transcends the usual physical limitations of the stage.
Concerts here are as unique as the resident performers themselves: Bette Midler, Elton John, Jerry Seinfeld and Cher.

MARY AND I SURE ENJOYED OUR TRIP TO LAS VEGAS AND THE CHER CONCERT. MY FAVORITE NUMBER WAS "HALF-BREED" AND WHEN CHER POPPED OUT OF HER CLOSET IN A LOIN CLOTH AND A FULL INDIAN HEAD DRESS, COMPLETE WITH RED AND WHITE FEATHERS, IT WAS HARD TO STAY IN YOUR SEAT. THE LAST SONG SHE DID, THE ENTIRE AUDIENCE, OF 4,298 PEOPLE, WERE ON THEIR FEET !!

MONDAY AFTERNOON I DROPPED MARY AT THE AIRPORT FOR HER WEEK HOME IN WISCONSIN. I'M SURE SHE WILL HAVE A GOOD TIME, EXCEPT MAYBE FOR THE DENTAL APPOINTMENTS, AND I'M ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURNING TO VEGAS NEXT WEEK-END TO PICK HER UP AT THE AIRPORT.

IN THE MEAN TIME, I'M HOME ALONE , AND WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION.
