THE SCOOTER RETURNS

WHEN I CALLED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TO SEE IF THE HANDLEBARS HAD BEEN REPLACED ON THE SCOOTER, THE SERVICE MANAGER SAID THAT THE HANDLEBARS WERE ON BACK ORDER AND WOULDN’T BE AVAILABLE UNTIL JANUARY.

BUT, HE EXPLAINED, WE TOOK A PAIR OFF A NEW UNIT AND MY SCOOTER WAS READY TO BE PICKED UP. THANK GOD!  I WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY DISAPPOINTED TO BE WITHOUT MY SCOOTER UNTIL THE FIRST OF THE NEW YEAR.

MARY AND I TOOK OUR TIME LOADING AND STRAPPING DOWN THE SCOOTER.

WE WERE BOTH PRETTY NERVOUS WATCHING THE REARVIEW MIRRORS AND EVEN STOPPED A COUPLE OF TIMES BEFORE WE HIT THE INTERSTATE TO CHECK THE SCOOTER AND GIVE THOSE RACHETS ONE MORE CLICK.

OUR THIRD TIME LOADING THE SCOOTER WAS SUCCESSFUL AND NOW WE’RE TWO OUT OF THREE.

FIRST DAY BACK AND I ABOUT RAN THE WHEELS OFF THE THING RUNNING ERRANDS AROUND TOWN.
