THAT’S OUR WEATHER FORCAST FOR NEXT WEEK.

I THOUGHT BUYING THE PARK MODEL UP ON THE MOUNTAIN WOULD MAKE OUR LAST SUMMER ON THE DESERT GO FASTER AND SHORTER, ESPECIALLY WITH SIX WEEKS OF VACATION.  IT’S NOT HAPPENING, WE ARE EVEN MORE MISERABLE THAN USUAL KNOWING WE COULD BE THERE INSTEAD OF HERE.

ON TOP OF THAT WE CAME HOME LAST NIGHT TO WATER PROBLEMS IN THE RV PARK, AS IN NO WATER. NO CHANGE THIS MORNING, STILL NO WATER.  I CAN’T IMAGINE WHAT THE RESIDENTS THAT RELY ON SWAMP COOLERS ARE GOING TO DO THIS AFTERNOON?

LUCKILY WE USE TWO AIR CONDITIONERS AND HAVE A FULL FRESH WATER TANK OF WATER TO USE, SO I HAD MY MORNING COFFEE AND SHOWER.

ANOTHER PROBLEM IS CAT HAIR.  IN THE HEAT OF SUMMER WE HAVE CAT HAIR EVERYWHERE !!  “AZ” ALLOWS DAILY BRUSHING, BUT SUSIE WON’T SIT STILL FOR THAT.

JEES, WHAT ABOUT THE ELECTRIC BILL?

I COULD GO ON PISS’N AND MOAN’IN, BUT I THINK YOU GET THE IDEA. I’D RATHER BE IN JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING HAVING AN ICE COLD BEER WITH UNCLE NEIL AND AUNT KATHY OR ON THE PONTOON WITH UNCLE HANS AND RENEE ON CABLE LAKE.

RELIEF COMES RIGHT AFTER THE FOURTH OF JULY WHEN WE GO HOUSE/DOG SITTING WHERE THERE IS A BACKYARD POOL FOR A WEEK, FOLLOWED BY TWO WEEKS ON THE MOUNTAIN, BACK TO LAUGHLIN AND WORK FOR TWO WEEKS, AND THEN RETURN FOR TWO WEEKS TO THE MOUNTAIN. BY THEN IT SHOULD BE CLOSE TO LABOR DAY AND AT LEAST THE OVERNIGHT TEMPS SHOULD IMPROVE.
