ITALIAN FEST

LAST WEEK-END, WITH THE PACKER’S BYE WEEK, WE FINISHED THE VARNISHING OF THE PORCH FURNITURE AND STEPS. YAHOO! ANOTHER ITEM CROSSED OFF OUR “TO DO LIST”. LOOK’S LIKE CARPET CLEANING IS THE NEXT PROJECT ON THE AGENDA AFTER THE PACKERS BEAT THE LIONS.

SUNDAY WE WENT UP TO LAUGHLIN TO CHECK OUT A FEMALE VOCALIST AT AN OUTDOOR CONCERT IN CONNECTION WITH ITALIAN FEST AT THE BELLE.

SHE WASN’T PERFORMING UNTIL 5PM SO WE HAD TIME TO STOP BY TEA DANICING AT THE RIVERSIDE AND SUCK DOWN SOME JACKS AND BEERS.  IT HAD BEEN AWHILE SINCE THE TWO OF HAD A MEETING AND DISCUSSED SOME PLANS AND OPTIONS FOR NEXT SUMMER.

SEVERAL WEEKS AGO WE HAD DECIDED THAT THIS WAS OUR FINAL SUMMER ON THE LOWER DESERT AND SO WE ARE IN WEEK #30 UNTIL WE LEAVE THE DESERT BEHIND IN THE SUMMER AFTER SUFFERING FIVE HOT SUMMERS HERE. IN FUTURE BLOGS WE MAY REFER TO THE WEEK # AND YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT IT’S A COUNTDOWN TO WEEK #1 (END OF APRIL).

WE ALSO MADE IT OUT TO GOLDEN SHORES FOR MONDAY TACOS ($0.75/EA) AND SUCKED DOWN 8 OF THEM. IT’S BEEN AWHILE AND THEY WERE IMPROVED FROM OUR LAST TRIP.
