Snowbirds?


We have a couple of nesting pairs of Canadian Geese that live on our lake. They were disappointed to find the ice still on the lake when they flew in from wherever down south. Tough shit. They would have to endure another three weeks of the ice like the rest of us........






Only one family developed. We think the other adults may be last year's "kids" who haven't mated up yet or widows or we don't know? These fuzzballs are a couple of weeks old and they love our yard to poop in. Rena is scared to death of them and gives them a wide berth......





These two extended families have reached 12-15 in number some years,

now there are only these 5 and 3 more adults. Probably global warming. Or they ran out of polar bears to eat.......
