Finito......Fertig.......FINISHED!

Football camp is over! Hard to believe. It really represents the biggest hurdle to being a college football player. Like every day, there were two practices today, and it was the warmest day at 87 degrees. We have been SO blessed with reasonable and comfortable weather. I doubt I could have made it were the weather typical for North Dakota in early August, where it is usually 90 + and humid. Certainly I would have suffered a lot more.

The next hurdle for me was truly becoming a part of the team. This proved easier than I expected, but not through any talent of mine.   I will blog on this later.

The last hurdle is becoming a Christian student athlete. This is uncharted water for me, and we'll see how it goes. Orientation is Monday and classes start on Wednesday.

Congrats on making it through camp! Hoping to see you featured on an E60 episode soon. Good luck with classes. How's the extracurricular life? Any stories there? Uncle Mike and I say don't be shy :)

Mike & Company, (that would be you, Harris)

Being on E60 would sell a lot of books, but I don't see it happening yet. I just finished my first day of classes. It's amazing how much of college life is done on a laptop or a cell phone. Extracurricular life here is attending a welcome picnic or an evening lecture. Every day starts at 9 a.m. with mandatory Chapel. Are you getting the picture?

LOL! Getting the picture... I don't think Mike and I would fit in too well. Well maybe we would be good candidates to lead a welcoming picnic but just for the new freshman. Are you getting the picture :)

Yep, no more need to go to classes, just remote in from your device these days.

Good luck hitting the books and kick some tail on the field! Remember what I have taught you and take em to POUNDTOWN!
