WE MADE IT

THE TRIP FROM PAHRUMP TO THE MOHAVE VALLEY IS ONLY ABOUT 200 MILES, BUT IT HAS IT'S CHALLENGES, CROSSING THREE MOUNTAIN RANGES IN 3RD GEAR AT 40 MPH, THE I-15 FREEWAY IN CALIFORNIA, AND BLUE DIAMOND ROAD IN LAS VEGAS.

BLUE DIAMOND ROAD IS ONE OF THOSE ROADS THAT'S CONSTANTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION. PAULIE LIVES ON THIS ROAD AND A FEW YEARS BACK HIS VEHICLE INSURANCE DOUBLED JUST BECAUSE OF THE ACCIDENTS ON BLUE DIAMOND. NICE TO GET VEGAS BEHIND US IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR.

WE PULLED INTO OUR SITE AT BLACKSTONE RV PARK AND THE TEMPERATURE WAS 108 DEGREES !!! JEES IT'S HOT !!!

HERE WE ARE ON OUR SITE IN BOONDOCK MODE FOR THE NIGHT SINCE WE HAVE TO HAVE THE TRAILER AT MOHAVE RV FOR A FRIDGE RECALL AT 7:00 AM IN THE MORNING. WELL, IT'S NOT REALLY BOONCOCKING, WE ARE PLUGGED INTO THE ELECTRIC AND AFTER 4 HOURS OF CONSTANT A/C RUNNING IT'S 108 OUTSIDE AND 88 INSIDE.
