An Interesting Observation
Recently, I read an article that was about a phone conversation between President Trump and Former President Jimmy Carter.
On the 40th anniversary of normalizing relations with China, the former president wrote a letter to President Trump regarding that event.
During that call, President Trump said he felt that China has surpassed the U.S. and President Carter said he agreed.
In the last 40 years, China has not been at war. Because of that fact, they have been able to invest in their infrastructure and educational system. According to the news that I have seen, a lot of Chinese now enjoy a good standard of living, some an even lavish standard of living.
Conversely, the good old USA has been involved in nonstop wars. We have a crumbling infrastructure, a disappearing middle-class, and I don’t know exactly what to say about our education system. I could make a really long list of our ailments, but I want to keep it short!
Isn’t there an object lesson here??
