Lake Mohave

Today  we went to Katherine's Landing in the Lake Mead Recreational Area to hike.  I cannot believe we have been here 20 winters and I have never hiked this trail before.  I do know this, I will be hike this trail again as it was really nice.

It to goes along the side of Lake Mohave and leaves me amazed at the desert/lake contrast.

Here's my favorite hiking buddy pulling out ahead of me.  Actually that is unusual.  I am usually in front!!

This was the payoff at the end of the hike, a nice beach.  As I already mentioned, we will be doing this hike again!
