Garbage

I just got back from my second trip to the dumpster today. How can two people generate so much trash?? On average, we fill up three Wal-Mart bags of garbage each and every day. I know, I know, a lot of you are saying, but wait a minute, Rex drinks a lot of beer and cans are probably at least one bag full. Nope, cans are recycled so are in a different category. No beer cans in our garbage bags!!!!

Several years ago, I listened to a radio call in show hosted by Bruce Williams. His wealth of knowledge always amazed me. I remember him saying that whoever came up with a use for garbage would have great wealth. How true and no shortage of raw material.

I am sure recycling has been helpful in keeping down the size of landfills, but there is a lot more than can and needs to be done. Anyway that is what's on my mind today. Have a great one!!
