Wood Cutting


......This weekends project was cutting up the wood from four oak trees we had cut down.  They were diseased and threatened to fall on us.  We had an all-star cast of experienced woodcutters........

.....Hannah and Renee had their dogs there, Sam looks so much like a deer that we keep him in blaze orange during the deer-hunting season.......

....Jake's dog Woody gets crazy around the chainsaw and has to stay in the truck.  It is amazing to me that he simply does as he is told in spite of the fact that he obviously wants to get out of the truck..............

....Thank God the chain gets dull every now and then.  We can take a break.....

....our share of the booty.  I hope our Dad was watching us.  We used to have so much fun cutting wood with him 35 years ago.  He always said,  "it warms you twice".

I could feel the warmth even with out the flame!! Bill. (That will certainly bring on 80°) Even in the North.
