Riverside Park

 

Riverside Park in La Crosse has been a favorite place for people to hang over for over a century.  In the past years it has become one of the most favorite parks in the city and because of the very expensive high rise apartments built behind it, it has become somewhat “upscale”.  I was at the park about 3 times with various grandchildren while in WI. 

So will share some pictures of this really beautiful park.

The park has a garden and this is my granddaughter Mackenzie standing in the entrance.

This garden started as a tribute to and by the European “Sister Cities” that La Crosse had.

This evergreen (I think) has what look like needles growing in a swirling pattern.  Thought it was cool.

 

I know, too many pictures for one blog but I like them.

Anyway Riverside Park is well worth visiting.
