POUND #192
I'M STILL TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT. I WEIGH MYSELF EVERY MORNING WHEN I GET UP. I KNOW MOST DIETS SUGGEST YOU ONLY WEIGH YOURSELF ONCE A WEEK, BUT I LIKE TO SEE DAILY PROGRESS AND MAKE DAILY ADJUSTMENTS. WE USE A DIGITAL SCALE TO THE NEAREST ONE TENTH OF A POUND. THE EXTRA POUNDS ARE VERY SLOWLY MELTING AWAY, BUT FOR SOME REASON POUND #192 IS VERY BUCKY.
I HAVE BEEN STUCK ON THIS NUMBER FOR TEN DAYS! PART OF THE REASON WAS A TUFF DAY OFF, MARY TOOK ME TO LUNCH AND I TOOK HER TO THE PEANUT BAR, DAYS OFF ARE REALLY THE HARDEST, BUT I TRY TO COMPENSATE WITH 7000 EXTRA STEPS ON THE PEDOMETER. ANOTHER REASON IS THAT 192 HAS BEEN MY NORMAL WEIGHT FOR THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS. GUESS THE OLE BODY JUST WANTS TO SETTLE IN AT AN OLD FAMILIAR WEIGHT.
LOSING WEIGHT IS ALL ABOUT LIFE STYLE CHANGES. I'VE GIVEN UP USING SUGAR IN MY MORNING POT OF COFFEE, GIVEN UP ON SOFT DRINKS, AND GIVEN UP MOST OF MY CHEESE SNACKING, BUT, I GUESS, IF I WANT TO GET RID OF THIS "BEER BELLY", I'M GOING TO HAVE TO GIVE UP THE DAILY BEERS AND DESERTS? OH MY?

Hang in there. It is worth it. Remember, two beers a day are good for your health, so give up something else! Mary, congrats on the new grandbaby, Rex, you have to wait..
