GREEN BAY PACKERS

IT'S BEEN "TUFF" FOR AN OLE PACKER FAN TO ADJUST TO THE PACKERS WITHOUT BRETT FAVRE. EVEN NOW I FEEL THAT IF FAVRE IS GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY IN THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE , WHY ISN'T HE PLAYING FOR THE PACKERS?

MY HOPE WAS, AND STILL IS, THAT BOTH THE PACKERS, AND BRETT FAVRE DO WELL FOR THE SEASON.

MY THOUGHTS WERE THAT A-ROD (ARRON RODGERS) WOULDN'T STAY HEALTHY ENOUGH TO PLAY THROUGH THREE GAMES. I WAS VERY SURPRISED WHEN HE CAME BACK FROM THE SHOULDER INJURY. I WAS VERY SURPRISED WHEN THE PACKERS GAVE HIM A RAISE AND $65 MILLION DOLLARS.

HE STILL ALWAYS BREAKS RIGHT OUT OF THE POCKET, BUT AT LEAST HE'S LEARNED TO STAY IN THE POCKET LONG ENOUGH TO GET HIS JOB DONE.
I MIGHT EVEN GET OVER MIKE MC CARTHY AND RESPECT THE FINE COACHING JOB HE'S DOING FOR GREEN BAY, BUT I'LL NEVER FORGIVE THOMPSON FOR FIRING BRETT FAVRE AND HOPE HE'S FIRED AT THE END OF THE SEASON.

AT 4 WINS AND 4 LOSES THE PACK ENTERS THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON, AND THE NEXT TWO GAMES WITH THE VIKINGS AND DA' BEARS WILL SUM UP THE STORY.

GO PACK !!!

Your "I'll never forgive Thompson for firing Brett Favre" attitude is unfortunate. Of course these fiascos could, in hindsight, have been handled better - - but any rational person, who had actually used fact, logic and empathy in forming strong opinions, and who had followed the cronological order of the events, in this case, would conclude that this Diva with his childish and self centered behavior FIRED HIMSELF!!
