WISCONSIN FLOODING
WHAT A MESS YOU FOLKS AT HOME HAVE WITH ALL THE FLOODING. I'VE SPEND HOURS ON THE INTERNET LOOKING AT PICTURES AND READING THE STORIES.
I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING FROM MY CAMPING BUDDIES AT YELLOW RIVER STATE FOREST, BUT I'VE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT, IN HIGH WATER BEFORE AND MOST OF THEM KNOW WHEN TO "BUG OUT".
I WAS AMAZED AT THE PICTURES AND STORIES OUT OF DORCHESTER, IOWA, ONE OF MY OLE TROUT HUNTING HAUNTS. I JUST CAN'T IMAGINE FULL SIZE TRAILERS FLOATING DOWN WATERLOO CREEK, BUT THE WAUKON NEWSPAPERS HAD PICTURES TO PROVE IT.
THANKS TO AUNT KATHY FOR THE PHOTOS OF LAKE DELTON IN WISCONSIN DELLS.
I TOO HAVE A LOT OF MEMORIES OF LAKE DELTON. MY FAVORITE STORY INCLUDES RICKY JONAS BAREFOOT WATER SKIING DOWN THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE TOMMY BARTLETT WATER SKI SHOW ONE SUMMER AFTERNOON IN THE '60'S.
I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT SOME OF MY OLE FARM FRIENDS BECOME AS RICH AS THE OIL COMPANIES WITH $7 CORN. MARY AND I WILL DO OUR PART EATING PORK CHOPS AND BACON, WHATEVER THE COST.
