THE SHED
AT THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW SNOWBIRD SEASON THERE ARE IMPROVEMENTS MADE AND DEALS. PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT RETURNING HAVE TRAILERS AND ITEMS FOR SALE, OR SOME ARE UPGRADING THEIR UNITS TO PARK MODELS.
YOU WANT TO BE OUR NEIGHBORS? THERE IS NICE 5TH WHEEL ACROSS THE STREET YOU CAN BUY FOR $8,500. AND WITH $1,500 MORE FOR RENT YOU CAN LEAVE IT SIT HERE YEAR AROUND AND USE THE TRAILER SIX MONTHS OUT OF THE YEAR.
MARY HAS BEEN AFTER ME FOR THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS TO BUY A SHED FOR OUR RV LOT, BUT I HAVEN’T BEEN INTERESTED BECAUSE I CAN STORE OUR STUFF IN THE BACK OF THE PICK-UP. STILL MARY GOT THE WORD AROUND, AND WHEN ONE OF THE NEIGHBORS DECIDED TO BUILD A NEWER BIGGER SHED WE GOT THEIR OLDER SMALLER MODEL.
THE TIMING WAS PERFECT AS I HAD RUN OUT OF ROOM IN THE PICK-UP WITH THE ADDITION OF FANS AND A SECOND AIR CONDITIONER TO GET THROUGH THE SUMMER.
ANOTHER ITEM MARY HAS BEEN TRYING TO GET ME INTERESTED IN HAS BEEN A SMALL FREEZER. ONE OF PROBLEMS LAST SUMMER IN THE EXTREME HEAT WAS THE REFRIGERATOR IN THE RV. AFTER REACHING A TEMPERATURE OF 105 DEGREES OUR FRIDGE JUST WOULDN’T COOL DOWN ENOUGH TO KEEP MILK. IT WOULD RUN ABOUT 50 DEGREES, WHICH WAS FINE FOR PRODUCE, BUT NOT FOR MILK AND COLD BEER.
ANTICIPATING ANOTHER SUMMER ON THE DESERT, BECAUSE THE CASINO BUSINESS IN NEVADA JUST HASN’T HIT THE BOTTOM YET, WE BOUGHT THIS USED FRIDGE WITH A FREEZER ON TOP.
ANOTHER REASON TO ADD A SHED. IT’S ONLY BEEN TWO DAYS, AND WE HAVE THE SHED HALF FULL ALREADY !!!

O yes...Sheds don't stay empty for long!! Enjoy the cold drinks now!!
sheds and freezers sound an awfully lot like "roots". One of the great beauties to RVing is "no roots"
Be careful, those of us with multiple roots as thick as your leg will cease to envy you...........
