Custom Smiley WHAT A BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF CABLE LAKE WE WOKE UP TO THIS MORNING FROM MY BROTHERS GUEST HOUSE. THE FALL LEAVES AND WATER ARE SO PRETTY. I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT BEING “UP NORTH” IN WISCONSIN BUT IT SURE IS RELAXING. MARY AND I TOOK A DRIVE UP COUNTY TRUNK “A” AND THE FALL LEAVES WERE SPECTACULAR. WE ENDED OUR RUN AT LIPSIE PINES WITH A COCKTAIL AND HEADED BACK TO SPOONER AND UNCLE MIKES BAR FOR THE PACKER GAME. UNCLE HANS WAS ON CALL, AND SURE ENOUGH HE HAD TO DO TWO EMERGENCY PROCEDURES THIS SUNDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON. WE DID GET A CHANCE TO TOUR HANNAH’S NEW HOME AND IT JUST FITS INTO THE WOODED SITE, COMPLETE WITH A COUPLE OF HORSES OUT IN THE YARD. AFTER THE PACKER GAME WE RETIRED TO THE HOUSE FOR ROOT STEW AND 25 YEAR OLD VIDEO OF OUR KIDS GROWING UP WITH SCENES SUCH AS THE, “THE BLATZ PUMPKIN”, AND “RUDOLF THE RED NOSE REINDEER”. THE RELAXING AND FAMILY MEMORIES REMIND US WHY WE COME HOME TO WISCONSIN.

AMEN.
