Fall Yard Work (The End)
.......I am late this year because of the black object in the middle of the picture. The water pump on the tractor seized up a couple of weeks ago. $300 later, I am back at it. Wendy likes to say, "If you have stuff, it breaks "If you own a home, you have stuff." Get your checkbook
out.................
.........I would rather be pontooning, or even fishing...........
..............Notice anything particular (like stupid) about this picture? Well, I am working hard at picking up leaves, late in the fall and the trees have half the leaves still on them!! Those are oak trees. They don't lose all their leaves in the fall. About half stay on until the new buds push the leaves off the tree in the spring. Consequence? You get to pick up leaves TWICE a year!!
If you leave them in place for the winter your grass is slow to come back to life. I hate oak trees now. When I bought this place, there were 140 now there are about 95 left. I have happily murdered the rest. These two in the picture are next as they are in the way to get a large RV safely into my yard, namely Rex and Mary's. Also I need wood for my fireplace and Jason and Jake are very good with chain saws. They are definitely short-timers!!.....
..........Here is our RV, a toybox for snowmobiles or motorcycles. We have had it two and one half years and never used it. Homeowners have too little time as they have to take care of their homes. No time for fun things like Rving. We plan to go with Rex and Mary next August and they will teach us how to use the thing.............
(NO PROBLEM, WE KNOW A FEW THINGS ABOUT RVING)

Rex,
Thanks for the editing. I ran late with something else I was supposed to be doing and made a mess of the typing...
Hans
