SONY TELEVISION

I RETIRED MY OLD SONY TELEVISION TODAY. IT'S BEEN WITH ME A LONG LONG TIME AND LITERALLY THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF MILES. IT STARTED OUT YEARS AGO IN THE SUPPER CLUB ABOVE THE BAR (BEFORE IOWA BARS WERE NON-SMOKING).

FROM THERE IT BECAME THE BEDROOM TV, I'D LIKE TO SAY THAT WAS BACK WHEN JOHNNY CARSON WAS STILL ON, BUT THAT SIMPLY ISN'T TRUE. DID YOU KNOW THAT JAY LENO IS RETIRING NEXT YEAR AFTER 17 YEARS ON THE TONIGHT SHOW? FEELING A LITTLE OLDER NOW?

FROM THERE MY FAITHFUL SONY TV HIT THE ROAD WITH ME. IT WAS 10 YEARS AGO THAT I WENT CAMPING AND NEVER RETURNED HOME. CAN YOU IMAGINE LIFE AS A TV IN THE BACK OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT CAMPERS BOUNCING DOWN THE ROAD?

A FEW YEARS AGO IT AGAIN BECAME THE BEDROOM TV, AND MORE RECENTLY THE PATIO TV.

IT'S MADE ME A BELIEVER IN SONY TELEVISION. SO HOW ABOUT THE NEW TV? GLAD YOU ASKED.

YUP, IT'S A SONY !!!

I WONDER HOW MANY EPISODES OF MASH I WATCHED AND RE- WATCHED ON THAT OLD SONY TV? HEY REX, JUST HOW OLD WAS THAT TV?

You were very fortunate, we had a Sony Tv and it lasted maybe 4 years.

What's the model number of the new Sony? It looks interesting with a handle and stand. Does is work on 12 volt?
