SPOONER, WI

by Uncle Hans
Custom Smiley Finally had a moment to catch up on the blog. Good job! When life settles down a bit, I may try the blog thing. I have reviewed your Cheesedays plans and they sound like fun. It just rained here and more is on the way. While that may not sound like news, we have had quite a drought here. The crops were all lost about two weeks ago, it was that serious. My trees are saved, I believe, but only by hand-carrying water and often. Anyway, the rain started at 0430 and I could not sleep so here I am. Hannah and Jason's house comes along daily. We will finish the woodwork staining/varnishing in our garage today. The drywall people will finish on Tuesday and paint the whole interior on Wednesday. Jason will install the woodwork/interior doors and the flooring people do their thing at the same time. Jake, Hannah, and I will finish out the electric (wire up the switches and outlets, then install the faceplates over them). The kitchen cabinetry will be installed and........W! ALLA!!............they move in! Probably in 2-3 weeks. The medical school business is exciting to the point of nervous breakdown. Every day a victory or two and a setback. Wow! I have never imagined such a business. Full details around the fire at Cheesedays, if we are not institutionalized by then! WEndy may be in England or attending to the birth of her first grandchild, Owen, due September 14. I may be there alone or with Ian. Neil is still contemplating a bike trip to follow, and we may need a chase vehicle. stay tuned.

Spooner Lake

By Mary
Custom Smiley Another day off...two in a row...we like it!!
Today we went on a hike around Spooner Lake. Last year when we did this hike a fire helicopter was there sucking up water to fight a forest fire. That was a real interesting sight. It is such a pretty hike and very diverse. It starts and ends in the forest, but the middle is through a meadow and also some marsh.

I forgot to mention our stop at a roadside fruit and vegetable stand yesterday. So of course after our hike today I need to organize and clean out the fridge. I started by making fresh salsa and ended up making pizza. Pizza gets rid of a lot of leftovers. I usually make a half recipe of pizza dough but decided to make the full recipe to see if I can freeze this dough. Kind of a good thing to know before we get to Cheese Days since we plan to grill pizzas there. The bread machine will certainly get a workout in Wisconsin if all of our plans work out.

Countdown time...39 days to lift off!!! Out of the 40s and into the 30s...time marches on!!

Are we in Wisconsin Toto?

By Mary
Custom Smiley Wow....the area in Northern California we traveled to today really reminded me of home. It was beautiful and we took enough pictures to do a web page. I'll blog when we get it finished and posted. The picture below shows both apple trees and grape vines. And across the road was a Christmas Tree farm. It was really strange see all that in a 180. Also just down the road was a giant pumpkin patch. We were really in California farm country today!!

We visited three wineries and let me tell you after wine tasting in three wineries....you are feeling the effects of the vino!! I ended up buying six bottles!! I should be well stocked for a while!!

The town of Placerville (Pop. 8400) was really quaint with a lot of cute shops. Of course I visited my share. Placerville isn't in the mountains so it was really hot and Rex didn't like that much. He also didn't like the fact that you couldn't smoke anywhere. Welcome to California!!

Ok..countdown...40 days to lift off...I cannot wait!!

What A Day.....OFF

By Mary
Custom Smiley A day off..we are happy about that!!

Out of the gate it is obvious that Rex and I have different styles. He gets up and makes coffee, reads SEVERAL on-line newspapers, his favorite blogs, and catches up on e-mail..while I, on the other hand, hit the floor running. I had 4 loads of laundry done, dishes washed, plus various other household chores taken care of b4 Rex was done with his computer stuff!!! While I am not complaining...it is sometimes a question of equity!! Who (in my mind at least) do you think is on the short end of the stick??

So this afternoon we went to Brothers..to have a day off drink. As is normal, we got into a discussion of our trip to WI and all the plans we have. The most prevalent, of course, is our Cheese Days menu. We are SO looking forward to seeing everyone and cooking. I can assure everyone that the Big gASS grill will get quite a workout!! I can also ensure that anyone around the campfire that wants to eat will be well satisfied with our menu!!

Our next day off will be Thursday and we plan to go to Placerville, CA about 60 miles from here to see the historic downtown area. It is also very close to Sutter's Mill where the California gold rush started.(I always thought that was in Southern CA but that is not correct.) According to my info, Placerville and surrounding area is home to many fine wineries. I am very anxious to visit.

OK it is now countdown time....We are leaving Lake Tahoe in 43 days....and will be arriving in WI in about 48 days. I can't wait!!

Hike

By Mary
Custom Smiley Today was a day off, our second in a row which is the first time since we started working Memorial Day week end. It was really nice to have two days off after a 7 day stretch. We were both wiped out and needed the break.

I finally got Rex out hiking today. We went to Camp Richardson which borders the lake and had a great hike. There just isn't a bad view of the lake and we had a wonderful time. Camp Richardson actually includes the remains of a couple of really great estates from the 1890's and 1900s. The guest cabins, main cabins, boat houses(complete with boats), polo fields, garages, stables, laundry cabins, court yard, arboredum...get my drift...estates that belonged to the very wealthy. One of the wealthy was "Lucky" Baldwin founder of the famous Santa Anita Race Track another was Mr. Pope (I can't remember his first name), co-founder, along with Mr.Talbot, of the Pope and Talbot Lumber Company.

We are using the Big gAss grill to make supper. Tonight's menu is a pork roast with a couple of foil packs...mine has zucchini, potato, onion, cauliflower, broccoli, lemon slices, olive oil, and fresh rosemary in it. Rex's foil pack has potatoes, onion, and butter flavored crisco. Go figure!!

Countdown time...pulling out in 46 days and arriving in Wisconsin in 51 or 52 days!! I am ready!!

SKIPPED A DAY

WRITTEN BY REX
Custom Smiley WOW, WE SKIPPED A DAY BLOGGING? THAT HASN'T HAPPENED SINCE BACK IN MAY WHEN WE STARTED THIS PROJECT. WELL IT'S BOUND TO HAPPEN SOME MORE THIS FALL WHEN WE WILL BE WITHOUT INTERNET. WE DO HAVE MY DAUGHTER ALL TRAINED IN USING OUR BLOG SITE, SO WITH ANY LUCK AT ALL YOU WILL GET SOME SHORT INFORMATION FROM AMY WHILE WE ARE ON THE ROAD AND OFF-LINE. I THINK WE CAN ALSO GO BACKWARD AND ASSIGN THE DATE, SO WE WILL TRY TO KEEP SOME NOTES IN A NOTEBOOK AND GET CAUGHT UP WHEN WE DO HAVE INTERNET. RIGHT NOW IT LOOKS LIKE WE WILL BE ON VACATION FROM SEPTEMBER 5TH UNTIL NOVEMBER 20TH. WE CAN'T WAIT, ELEVEN WEEKS OF VACATION. IT'S BEEN TWO YEARS SINCE WE TOOK A VACATION THIS LONG.THE PLAN IS TO HANG AROUND WISCONSIN UNTIL THE WEATHER CHASES US SOUTH. WEEK #6 OF WORK, AND I MENTIONED IN A PREVIOUS POST, THE WEEKS GO FAST WHEN THEY HIT THE SINGLE DIGITS. I NOTICE TWICE YESTERDAY ON OUR ROAD TRIP THAT I SAID, WE WOULD HAVE TO PUT THAT ON OUR AGENDA FOR NEXT SUMMER WHEN WE'RE IN LAKE TAHOE.

OUR ROAD TRIP YESTERDAY TOOK US EAST ON HWY 50, THE LONELIEST ROAD IN AMERICA, TO FALLON, NV FOR THE FUNERAL OF OUR DEAR, BUT TROUBLED, FRIEND AND CO-WORKER BILL ANDERSON. THE EULOGY WAS DELIVERED BY HIS NIECE, AND SHE DID A PERFECT JOB OF MAKING US SMILE, AND CRY OVER BILL. WE WERE BOTH GLAD WE DECIDED TO ATTEND AND IT GAVE US CLOSURE TO A WEEK OF BEWILDERMENT OVER THE WHOLE SITUATION. AMEN, BILL, AMEN, AND REST IN PEACE IN BEAUTIFUL NORTHERN NEVADA.

WE PICKED UP A NEW PRINTER (STILL IN THE BOX), A NEW SHELF FOR THE BIG gASS GRILL CAME UPS, ONE OF THE LP GAS TANKS IS EMPTY, AND THERE'S A LOAD OF TOWELS IN THE LAUNDRY. SO IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS "LIST" FOR OUR DAY OFF TODAY. MARY ALSO HAS A HIKE PLANNED ALONG TAYLOR CREEK ENDING AT THE BAR AT CAMP RICHARDSON.

E-Bay -- The Experience

By Mary
Custom Smiley Ever since I have been making my own pizza...complete with my own pizza dough, I have been wanting a rolling pin to roll it out. I got tired of using a glass real quick. I knew exactly what I wanted and it was a double ended one with two different sizes of rollers and the rollers were wooden. Pampered Chef used to have them but of course when I was going to Pampered Chef parties I had no use for one...but now I am hot for one. I looked for one like it at Wal-Mart and Bed, Bath, and Beyond--but no luck. I also could not find one at Pampered Chef's website. So for some reason I got the bright idea to check out E-Bay which I have never bought anything from. Lo and behold...they had exactly what I wanted!! So I had to create an E-Bay account to be able to bid on it. When I made my first $5.00 bid there was about 5 days left. To make a long story short, I got the roller and I love it!! I ended up paying $13.01 and about over $8.00 for shipping. Oh well, and it is exactly what I wanted and I got it!!

This past week we had the Celebrity Golf Classic here at the Lake. Unfortunately, I didn't see any celebrities, but Rex saw Maury Povich and Connie Chung walk through the casino. He has all the luck!!(Although I don't know how lucky you are if they are the celebrities you see).

This is a neck update. Remember my red neck that looked like I was a hanging survivor??? At one of the 4th of July arts and craft shows, I bought a home made skin remedy called "Scotty's Skin Cream". It worked!! I have even bought another jar. He has a website too called www.bestgameproducts.com. I have it on my favorite list in case I need more.

Today was our day off and we completed our "to-do" list. That is good cuz it was very long. For supper Rex is having a grilled pork chop and I am having grilled red snapper with tomato avocado salsa. Still playing with the new grill--I am waiting for the propane to run out!!

Countdown time....50 days till we pull out of Lake Tahoe and 55 to 56 days till we get to Wisconsin!!!!!!!!!!! The countdown continues!! I will be READY!!

A Sad Day

By Mary
Custom Smiley We got some really bad news this morning. A couple, Bill and Linda, that we work with at the AVI in Laughlin have passed away. They started dating around Christmas time and got engaged in March. We socialized with them a few times and really liked them both. This is such a tragedy and we are both shocked and saddened.

Domestic violence has been brought home to us in a very horrific way because Bill shot and killed Linda and then turned the gun on himself.

Why??

Five Down and Two To Go!!

By Mary
Custom Smiley Today is the fifth day we have worked in a row. We still have to work tomorrow and Sunday before we have a day off. And Monday list is getting really long. Lots of stuff to do on our one day off.

Today I dealt roulette and had a player that was paying $25 chips which means whenever he hit a number the payoff is $875.00. Once he had $100 on a number and it hit which means he won $3,500 for that roll...and he did back to back. In other words, he made $7,000 in two spins. Must be nice to have that type of disposable income. Believe me he lost a lot more than he won.

Rex made us burgers on the new grill today, he also used Jack Daniels chips to smoke them but that didn't turn out very well. Oh well, we will have the kinks out by September.

A week ago I e-mailed a "letter to the editor" to Redbook magazine about a series they have. The series is about three women that were selected to participate in a lifestyle change. The series is lifestyle changes to become fit and healthy. They sent experts into their homes to go through their cupboards and refrigerators. They had consultations with doctors and trainers. In fact the trainer is one that is connected with the show "Biggest Losers". Anyway to make a long story short...my e-mail will be published in the September issue of Redbook Magazine. Cool, huh??
Well it is time for the countdown...52 days to departure AND 57 or 58 days till we are in Wisconsin...........under 60 days!!!

I like it and I am really anxious to see everyone.

BIGG gASS GRILL

WRITTEN BY REX
Custom Smiley WE BOUGHT THIS BIG gASS GRILL TODAY, MADE BY CAMP CHEF LOGAN, UTAH. THE GRILL BOX ON THE LEFT BURNER JUST LIFTS RIGHT OFF SO YOU CAN USE BOTH BURNERS. THE GRATE ON THE TOP OF THE STOVE IS LARGE ENOUGH TO ALLOW THE LEGS ON THE DUTCH OVENS TO STICK THROUGH, SO THAT YOU CAN USE THESE GREAT CAST IRON POTS TO COOK IN ON THIS STOVE. THE GRATE IN THE GRILL BOX IS ALSO CAST IRON. WE OF COURSE FIRED IT RIGHT UP AND TRIED MARY'S NEW GRILL PIZZA, WELL THESE BURNERS ARE HUGH, 30,000 BTU'S, AND THE PIZZA TURNED OUT TO HAVE THE CRISPIEST (he means burnt!!--Mary says)CRUST I'VE EVER HAD ON A PIZZA. JUST SET ON MEDIUM THE GRILL TEMP INSIDE REACHED 450 DEGREES. I GUESS IT'S GONNA TAKE SOME PRACTICE............

ACTUALLY WE WENT TO RENO TO BY THIS STOVE AFTER THE INTERNET RESEARCH, WE INTENDED TO BUY THE THREE BURNER UNIT, THANK GOD WE FOUND THIS TWO BURNER UNIT, WHICH THEY DON'T MAKE ANYMORE SO WE GOT A GREAT DEAL, AND WON'T NEED TO BUY ANOTHER PICKUP TO HAUL THE NEW STOVE. THE LEGS ARE REMOVABLE AND BOTH PIECES HAVE STORAGE BAGS FOR EASY HAULING.

CRAPLESS CRAPS

WRITTEN BY REX
Custom Smiley FIRST I'D LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO ALL YOU NON-DEALERS READING TODAY'S BLOG (IN FACT YOU MAY WANT TO SKIP IT).

THURSDAY I WAS SENT TO DEAL CRAPLESS CRAPS AT HARRAH'S, BECAUSE A LONG TIME HIGH ROLLER WAS IN THE HOUSE. IN FACT THIS MAN HAS PLAYED CRAPLESS CRAPS SO LONG HIS NAME, "BILLY'S CORNER" IS ON THE LAYOUT IN FRONT OF THE HOOK WHERE HE SITS TO PLAY. I'VE WONDERED ABOUT THIS THIS GAME AND THE PAYOUTS SINCE PAULIE AND I PLAYED IT YEARS AGO AT THE STRATOSPHERE IN LAS VEGAS.

SO HERE IS THE STRAIGHT SKINNY.............
* THERE ARE NO "DON'TS", (BUT YOU CAN DIRECTLY LAY A NUMBER)
* THERE ARE NO FIRE BETS
* THERE ARE NO HOPPING BETS
* ALL NUMBERS ROLLED , EXCEPT 7, BECOME THE POINT, SO ON THE COME OUT ROLL YOU CAN'T LOSE.
* THE MAX ODDS ARE 5X ON THE SIX & EIGHT, 4X ON THE FIVE & NINE, 3X ON FOUR & TEN, 2X ON THE THREE & ELEVEN, AND 2X ON THE TWO & TWELVE.
* ODDS ON THE THREE & ELEVEN PAY 3 TIMES* ODDS ON THE TWO AND TWELVE PAY 6 TIMES
* PLACE BETS ON THE THREE AND ELEVEN PAY 11 TO 4, BUT IT'S A FIVE DOLLAR GAME SO A PROPER PLACE BET IS 8, WHICH PAYS 22* PLACE BETS ON THE TWO AND TWELVE PAY 11 TO 2, BUT IT'S A FIVE DOLLAR GAME SO A PROPER BET IS 6 WHICH PAYS 33.

IT WAS CRAZY, THEY OPENED THE GAME WITH TWO DEALERS THAT HAD NEVER DEALT CRAPLESS CRAPS BEFORE, ME AND A BREAK-IN, AND TWO GUYS THAT HAD DEALT IT BEFORE. THE OTHER CRAPS GAME WAS A $10 GAME SO THIS $5 GAME WAS ALSO ATTRACTING ALL THE FLEAS. THERE ARE SO MANY POINTS THAT ON THE LAYOUT YOU ONLY HAVE ROOM FOR SIX PLAYERS, BUT THERE WERE OFTEN 8 PLAYERS ON A SIDE, YOU HAD TO STAGGER THE PLACEMENT OF THE CHIPS. YOU HAVE LOT'S PLAYERS SCREAMING AT YOU TO PAY THE LINE WHEN ELEVEN ROLLS ON THE COME OUT, WHICH YOU DON'T CAUSE ELEVEN BECOMES THE POINT. ONE LADY ASKED ME HOW LONG THIS NEW GAME HAD BEEN HERE? ANOTHER GUY ASKED ME HOW I THOUGHT UP THIS NEW GAME?

OH, DID I MENTION THAT HARRAH'S USES SPEED CHECKS INSTEAD OF THE STANDARD CLAY? DEALERS DO HOUR TWENTIES SO WE ALSO HAD A BJ ON OUR STRING. IT WAS A NERVE WRACKING FAST EIGHT HOUR SHIFT !!!

IF YOUR NOT A CRAPS PLAYER OR A CRAPS DEALER AND YOU READ THIS BLOG ENTRY, WELL, YOU ARE A LOYAL READER !!!

JUST ONE MORE CRAPS STORY AND I'LL LET YOU GO.

WE'VE BEEN CATCHING SOME 6AM START TIMES, SO THE OTHER MORNING I'M STANDING AT THE PENCIL WAITING FOR MY ASSIGNMENT AND I'M SENT TO THE CRAPS GAME, I'M STILL NOT ON THE "A" TEAM, SO I ONLY DEAL CRAPS ABOUT ONE DAY A WEEK, ANYWAYS I LOOK OVER AND THERE ARE ONLY TWO PLAYERS, ONE ON EACH END. SO AT 6 AM, AND HALF ASLEEP, I TAP INTO SECOND BASE. I'M TELLING THE DEALER I'M RELIEVING TO HAVE A NICE DAY AND I TURN AROUND AND LOOK DOWN AT THE LAYOUT TO SEE WHAT THE BETS ARE................
HOLY SHIT, THIS PLAYER HAS ABOUT $13,000 IN ACTION, AND I'M JUST A $3 GAME DEALER FROM THE AVI?NOW THAT WILL WAKE YA UP, RIGHT NOW !!!

THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT I DIDN'T TAKE THE POLE, HE WAS BETTING THE HOPPERS AT $70 A CLICK, THAT WAS $50 FOR HIM, $10 FOR THE SHOOTER, AND $10 FOR THE DEALERS, MAKE THAT A 3-WAY HOP.... (AND LEAVE IT UP THE SAME WAY). THIS GUY HOPPED ALL THE HARD WAYS FOR $50 A PIECE ON A COME OUT ROLL, AND WALKED OFF TO THE BATHROOM, THE SHOOTER SHOT THREE HARD WAYS IN A ROW AND HE MADE JUST OVER $4,000 WHILE HE TOOK A PISS !!!

40 MINUTES LATER ON MY WAY TO BREAK I NOTICED FOUR BLACK IN THE TOKE BOX.

Knife

By Mary
Custom Smiley Ok everybody that knows me knows how much I like to cook. This past winter while in Bullhead City, I joined a gym. I was very faithful about going 4 to 5 days a week and one of the reasons was because while I was on either the elliptical machine or treadmill, I could watch Food Network and/or HGTV.

That was my introduction to Rachel Ray, although I knew who she was it was my first chance to actually watch her cook. I really wanted the knife she used to chop stuff with so one day when I got home from the gym I begged Rex to buy me her knife for my birthday. Actually I asked if he would split the $70 price with me. He TOTALLY surprised my by saying he would just buy it for me!! Cool!!

So I got the knife and I really, really like it. Reading the enclosed material, I noticed that Rachael endorsed a particular knife sharpener which is the same brand of the knife...FURI. So I went on-line to look for one of those too.
Guess what the price of that was???

I got it today...I had promised myself that the first paycheck at Lake Tahoe that netted me $1100.00 or more I would buy the FURI sharpener. Did anyone guess the correct price??

It was $100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sharpener will be available to anyone that wants to sharpen their knives while we are home in Sept.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL OPERATION

YESTERDAY WAS A DAY OFF AND ON "THE LIST" WAS TO REPAIR THE DOOR LATCH ON THE HALF TIME OVEN. TO SAVE ROOM IN THE RV, THEY INSTALL A HALF TIME OVEN, WHICH LOOKS LIKE A MICROWAVE, BUT ALSO WORKS AS AN ELECTRIC CONVECTION OVEN COMPLETE WITH FAN. A GREAT APPLIANCE AND WHERE THE OVEN USUALLY IS INSTALLED THERE IS A WONDERFUL CUPBOARD IN THE KITCHEN.

TO START AT THE BEGINNING MARY WAS USING THE OVEN AND PUSHED THE DOOR RELEASE BUTTON IN, AND IT STUCK THERE WITH THE DOOR CLOSED. IN AN EFFORT TO HELP HER I GAVE THE OVEN A LITTLE "LOVE TAP" WITH MY FIST AND WE BOTH HEARD THE LATCH BREAK AND CLINK DOWN INSIDE THE OVEN. THE DOOR HOWEVER REMAINED CLOSED !!!

BACK TO THE MOC (MONTANA OWNERS CLUB) INTERNET DISCUSSION BOARD TO POST MY PROBLEM. SURE ENOUGH THIS HAPPENED TO ANOTHER MEMBER AND THEY GAVE THE NAME AND PHONE NUMBER TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER. THIS HAS BEEN A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THEIR RV OVEN AND THEY HAVE SINCE RE-ENGINEERED THE PART AND CHANGED FROM PLASTIC TO NYLON. TAMMY, FROM APOLLO OVENS, SAID NO PROBLEM, WE WILL SEND YOU THE NEW PART AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS RIGHT AWAY FREE OF CHARGE. THAT WOULD BE THE "GOOD NEWS" PART.

NOW YOU ALL KNOW I'M "TOOL CHALLENGED", AND TO USE UNCLE NEIL'S LINE, I ONLY HAVE TWO TOOLS IN MY TOOL CHEST: A PHONEBOOK AND A CHECKBOOK..........

MAYBE I'LL LET MARY TELL "THE REST OF THE STORY".......

Well I guess I am up!! Rex is so good at sharing or should I say passing the tuff stuff off to me. Anyway, I know Rex's limitations when it comes to tools and I am real careful about the timing of such projects. First on the list, no projects late in the day when it is hot...his frustration level increases with every degree the temperture goes up. Second on the list....before "beer time".

The first step was to remove the plastic frame that holds the oven in place. This I did...too bad that wasn't to be my only contribution. OK so now the oven goes out the door and onto the table outside. Step 2 in the instructions is "Remove metal wrapper from unit." Sounds easy right--the directions are real nice letting us know that there is 11 screws, plus 2 screws - 1 on each side of the cabinet. In the directions these are referred to "Safety Screws". In reality they are screws that have labels that say DO NOT REMOVE..INTERNAL GROUNDING or some such shit....and they have a metal tip sticking up in the star shaped center of the screw. The directions say you can remove this ridiculous screw using a needle nosed plier..ya right! We made several failed attempts using needle nosed pliers and the suckers didn't budge...so Rex made another trip to the tool box and came back with a hack saw!! Now we're talking!! It took a LOT of effort, but the first screw succumbed to the saw. The second screw was in a location, that made use of a hack saw impossible, but with a pair of pliers, Rex was able to get it off.

I am not going through the step by step directions, but the oven is now back in it's home and the door is working...a job well done by two amateurs!

AND NOW IT'S "MILLER TIME" !!!!

Rex The Surgeon

By Mary
Custom Smiley Ok..here's the story. I was eating a Morning Star Farms Potabello Mushroom Burger on an english muffin that we made and I got a sliver in the pallet of my mouth!! NO SHIT!! I have no idea where it came from but I did have a sliver in my pallet. After feeling it and trying to figure out how to get it out, I asked Rex if he would look at it. He did and, lo and behold, he could see it. (Believe me that is quite extraordinary at our age.) I nicely asked him if he thought he could remove it with a tweezer. He surprisingly said yes...so bottom line..he did!! Believe me I am grateful cuz it was driving me CRAZY!

Today is Friday June 30, the start of the the 4th of July Holiday and we had it off. Ok!! Early this morning we went to Rex's bank and to the grocery store. To my way of thinking, we go early to avoid the California influx of people celebrating the holiday. When we left home at about 9:30 the traffic was not light but not heavy either. Coming home at 11:15 was an entirely different story. It was carzy..and it made me thankful we went early. Of course we could have been home by 10:15 but, I saw a craft show at the Horizon Casino so I had to stop. I love craft shows and love to see what is available. I even got my son-in-law, Randy his birthday present!! I am not saying what it is here cuz he might be reading, but he turns 39 on July 9, while he is home on leave from Kuwait. I will be sending his present on the 5th or 6th. After he receives it I will let everyone know what it is.

I cleaned out the inside of my car today...what a job..but I did a good one and am pleased with the result.

OK I am done for today..................have a great day!!
