Neil brought some homemade brats to grill and they were tasty, even in the rain..............

....no trip to Monroe is complete without a stop at Puempels tavern in New Glarus.  They have limburger as well and my Grandfather supposedly boarded upstairs here when first coming over from Switzerland in about 1912.................

....the place is full of 100 year old murals depicting life in Switzerland life at the turn of the century  (1900).  The lighting and 100+ years of cigarette smoke make them hard to appreciate or photograph.....
