Today Heather and I went shopping for furniture. Her whole living room is now gutted so we took the time to look around. First stop was Lansing Furniture in Lansing and we loved the place and the furniture. The salesperson, Lisa, was extremely helpful. She had a lot of really helpful tips such as drawing out a floor plan to see how the furniture will fit in the space she has available. She also had the dimensions of all the furniture Heather was interested in. We went to two other places, but I bet this place gets the business.

I usually get gas in Lansing because it is always cheaper. Today it was 12 cents a gallon more than it was 2 days ago....I hear it is going to $4.00 a gallon. That will really suck!! Oh the Lansing price was 2.96..

Last Friday I was at Jim's Small Engine Repair to get a part for Mother's lawn mower. It was a really interesting place. First of all it is on a gravel road. It was Jim and another guy working on various small engines that were attached to lawn While standing there waiting for him to find my part, I heard a rooster crow. I mentioned to Jim that his rooster must be confused because it was about 4:30 PM and I always thought roosters crowed in the morning. Oh well. Then I noticed a sign"Farm Fresh Eggs 75 cents". Of course I had to have some, so Jim's wife went out to the hen house to get me a dozen eggs since she didn't have a full dozen on hand. Just can't get any eggs fresher than that!! And best of all the eggs were brown, white, blue. She told me what breed laid blue eggs but I don't remember what she said.
